GoodHangups are magnetic sticker solutions to the problem everyone faces of hanging things like artwork, paintings, drawings, and posters on walls. GoodHangups are stickable on literally any surface – wood, brick, stone, glass, or metal. GoodHangups use tiny metallic disks that are magnetic to ‘stick’ the drawings/paintings/artwork and a strong adhesive to stick to the surface. They are a great substitute for things like thumbtacks and strong adhesives that can leave marks and damage on your walls.
These stickers are strong, simple, easy to use, and an inexpensive solution for your temporary, long-term, or permanent wall fixtures. GoodHangups are also removable and reusable – as long as the adhesive on the back remains debris- and dust-free.
Leslie Pierson, the creator and founder of GoodHangups, got the inspiration for these wall-hanging stickers from her son. She needed a simple solution to hang and display all of her son’s artwork and also wanted to change it up regularly as he continued to make newer and better artwork. She found tape and thumbtacks weren’t working well and would routinely leave behind marks and traces.
Leslie was already an experienced entrepreneur, selling skins and decals for laptops for many years. It was her first-ever business – her decal business had seen some good years and was now faltering after she had lost interest.
After creating GoodHangups and before appearing on the Shark Tank, she appeared and won the ‘Next Big Thing’ contest on the Today Show. Her product was already gaining popularity, and Pierson needed investment to up her production.
She appeared on Season 8, Episode 2 of the Shark Tank. Leslie was looking for a $100,000 investment offering a 10% stake in her business. Her demonstration, where she hung up pictures of Kevin using her stickers, went well. She also provided samples to the Sharks.
Kevin had questions about her sales. Leslie stated she had already done over $450K in sales over one year. She also states around half of those sales happened after winning the ‘Next Big Thing’ and appearing on QVC, and the remainders were from her retail locations.
Mark Cuban is the first shark to back away from the deal as he feels he isn’t the appropriate associate for Leslie. Robert is next to back away, stating he isn’t an arts and crafts guy. Lori is the first to make an offer of $100,000 for a 20% stake. Daymond jumps in with a $100,000 offer for a 15% stake, and Mr. Wonderful offers a $100,000 investment for 10%. Kevin states he’s making the offer to let Leslie squeeze more out of Lori. Leslie counters Lori, stating she’d like a $100,000 advance for a 10% stake in the business. Leslie adds if she isn’t able to return the advance within a year, the equity goes up to 20%. Lori likes the deal and agrees to it.
Our Review of GoodHangups
Since Leslie’s appearance on Shark Tank, Leslie and Lori have made an appearance on QVC together. The business has since expanded extensively, and its products are now available at buybuy BABY, Bed Bath and Beyond, and online on Amazon. The company’s first three years after Shark Tank was incredibly successful, with over $5,000,000 in sales.
GoodHangups now have two different kinds of stickers on sale. The original GoodHangups stickers and GoodHangups for Kids Art. The difference in these stickers is the size of the artwork they can hold. The original GoodHangups can hold artwork sized 24” x 36”, and the kid’s artwork stickers are capable of holding artwork sized 11” x 14”.
GoodHangups stickers are amazingly easy to use. All you have to do is attach their adhesive metal ‘disc’ to the surface you want to attach the artwork to. Place your artwork and stick the magnets that come with it to secure your favorite pieces on the wall.

- A few customers do complain about receiving stickers with adhesives missing.

Overall, GoodHangups are a great product to have, especially for those who have children who love being creative and produce hundreds of new art pieces every week. Replace and reuse the stickers to show off different artwork every week – without ever worrying about ruining your walls or the artwork!
GoodHangups allow you to hang up any and all kinds of artwork without ever needing a frame, thumbtacks, holes, or glue marking on your wall! While they do mention recommended sizes for their products per box, you can add extra GoodHangups to attach bigger and heavier artwork/posters to your walls.
