Kevin O’Leary counters with an offer of his own. He offered to give them the $400,000 in $100,000 increments. He wanted a $2 per board sold until the loan gets repaid at a total of $800,000. A buyout would give him a 3% stake in the company but no voting rights, which would leave the three founders to operate the business in any way they saw fit.

Barbara and Mark Cuban colluded while Kevin was putting together his transaction. Mark was interested in accepting Barbara’s offer. He believed a partnership between the two businesses would be beneficial. Lori Greiner had an offer for the business. He cut her off before she could finish.

In the end, the trio agreed to take Mark and Barbara’s offer. They depart the Shark Tank with $400K for a 16% stake in the market.
