Mark showed hesitance which Lori noticed, and tried to counter the deal by dropping the equity demand to 40%.
Matt thought the deal was outrageous, and he couldn’t possibly give so many shares of his company. Hence, he turned down the offer and left the Shark Tank platform without making any deal.
